As of October 2011 there are 126 staff in total employed by Crossroads Care in Greater Manchester.

Day to day running of the organisation is delegated to the Chief Executive Officer.

There are three senior management roles other than that of the Chief Executive Officer which all have group functions (roles that cover all six service areas) these being the Business Development Manager, the Operations Manager and the Finance Manager. The roles of Finance Assistant, Admin Assistant and Quality and Performance Officer are also group functions supporting all the service areas.

Front line services are delivered by Carer Support Workers (CSWs) and Personal Assistants (PAs) who provide the respite care to people with care needs and to carers in the home or out and about in the community as required. CSWs and PAs are paid by the hour and at an hourly rate dependent on the time of day and day of the week they work. They get paid for using their cars to go from home to home and for taking people out in their cars by claiming a mileage allowance.
